A Cyprus garden is at its best in the evening. The heat has eased, the terrace is finally comfortable, and that is exactly the hour most gardens vanish. The planting you paid attention to becomes a dark mass, the steps down to the pool turn into guesswork, and guests end up clustered under one harsh security floodlight because it is the only thing switched on.
The usual fixes tend to create their own problems. Cheap fittings bought in a hurry fade after one summer of Cyprus sun and salt air. Wired schemes mean trenching through established planting, an electrician, and cable runs that were never allowed for when the villa was built. Owners who are away for part of the year also worry about anything that adds load, needs constant attention, or leaves the plot looking unoccupied and unlit.
Then there is the question nobody answers clearly: how much light, where, and in what tone. Too little and the path is still unsafe. Too much, or too cold a colour, and a soft Mediterranean garden starts to look like a car park. Most people simply do not know what a lumen figure means for their own driveway, terrace or boundary wall.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Good To Know
Asked before ordering
For the solar posts, spotlights and wall lights we install, no mains connection and no trenching through your planting is required, so an electrician is not normally involved. If your project also includes wired circuits, pool plant or anything connected to the villa supply, that work is carried out by a qualified electrician and we coordinate it as part of the scheme.
Cyprus winters still deliver useful daily sun, and the fittings we specify are sized with shorter December days in mind rather than midsummer. Runtime is shorter in winter than in July, and a run of heavy overcast days will reduce output, which is why panel position and shading from trees or walls matter as much as the fitting itself. We look at each position on site before recommending anything.
Every garden is calculated individually, because the plot size, the number of positions, the ground conditions and the brightness needed all differ. We do not publish figures. After a free initial consultation and a look at the garden we prepare a written quotation for your project, and an invoice is issued with every order.
Typical villa lighting schemes are usually completed in a short number of visits, and smaller schemes are often finished in a single day on site. That is a typical range rather than a fixed commitment. Once we have seen the garden and agreed the scope, your quotation sets out the expected timing for your specific project.
Warm white is generally the more flattering choice for planting, stone and terraces, and it keeps the garden feeling like an outdoor room. Cool white reads as brighter and more functional, which can suit a driveway, a boundary or a working area. Many gardens end up with both, used deliberately in different zones.
