Paralimni
Paralimni is the unofficial capital of the Famagusta district's southern part — the largest town in the area, with a year-round residential character distinct from the resort identities of Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Three decades of luxury landscaping tailored to Kapparis's specific microclimate, soil, and character.
Kapparis sits on the coast north of Paralimni, a quieter residential area with strong appeal for the long-stay expat market and a small but established community of Northern Europeans drawn to the slower pace and good coastal access. The character is residential rather than resort — fewer hotels, more family villas, calmer beaches. The microclimate is straightforward eastern-Cyprus coastal: hot summers (slightly less intense than inland Paralimni due to sea breeze), mild winters, sandy soils. Our Kapparis work tends to focus on settled residential gardens — both new-build villas where we design from scratch and renovation of older properties whose owners have evolved their tastes. Plot sizes are typically modest but well-proportioned, allowing genuine garden design rather than the courtyard-scale work of denser areas. The line of the local coast offers some of the best swimming on the eastern coastline, and gardens here often integrate sea-view terraces and outdoor living spaces that take direct advantage of the setting.
Eastern Cyprus coastal climate — hot summers, mild winters, sandy soils, sea breeze present.
Coastal sandy loams. Drainage excellent; fertility low without amendment.
Three decades of work in this microclimate has taught us what succeeds — and what to avoid.
Sandy coastal soils require structured amendment programmes for ornamental beds.
Long-stay expat clients sometimes have plant preferences (English roses, herbaceous borders) that struggle in Cyprus's climate — we educate and substitute.
Coastal proximity creates moderate salt exposure on first-line plots.
About our garden services in Kapparis
Some elements work, with significant adaptation. Pure English-cottage gardens are unrealistic in Cyprus's climate. We can deliver Mediterranean gardens that capture similar layered, intimate, fragrance-rich qualities using species that genuinely thrive here.
It's been a steadily appreciating area for both property and garden investment. Well-designed, mature gardens add measurable value and rental appeal here, and the residential (vs. resort) character protects the area from over-development.
By treating the first 5-10m from the boundary as 'transition zone' planting (salt-tolerant, low, structural) and reserving more sensitive ornamentals for the protected interior of the garden. This creates depth and resilience.

Paralimni is the unofficial capital of the Famagusta district's southern part — the largest town in the area, with a year-round residential character distinct from the resort identities of Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Pernera occupies a stretch of coast between Protaras and Paralimni — a quieter resort area with a strong residential expat community and a series of villa developments built specifically for the long-stay second-home market.

Protaras is Ayia Napa's quieter, more family-oriented neighbour — a resort with a stronger residential and luxury-villa identity, calmer beaches, and a longer year-round season.

Ayia Napa is Cyprus's most internationally famous resort town — a coastal community whose summer reputation as a party destination obscures the year-round residential and luxury-villa market that anchors the local economy outside the peak season.
