The villa belt above Coral Bay takes salt spray on the westerlies for half the year. Cheap outdoor lights corrode at the screws and seams within a couple of seasons, and buried cable joints in sandy cliff soil fare no better.
Sealed IP65 solar lamps in aluminium and Corten steel pass that test by construction. No buried joints, no junction boxes in damp sand, and housings whose surface is either self protecting oxide or deliberate patina.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Yes, with the right materials, and that is the entire question. We install sealed metal bodied lamps and rinse panels and housings on maintenance visits, the same salt routine your garden already gets.
It strengthens it. Lights that manage themselves at dusk, cost nothing to run and cannot be left on by a guest are the right fit for a changeover property, and a lit pool surround and steps are a genuine safety point for your listing.
