Old walls should not be chased for a light switch
Cyprus courtyards are often the oldest part of the property, stone walls, mature pots, a fig or a vine overhead. Chasing conduit into that fabric is the kind of damage you cannot undo.
Solar lighting touches none of it. Lamps stand in the planting, sit on the paving or tuck between pots, and the courtyard keeps every stone where it was.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Good To Know
Asked before ordering
Sometimes not, and we say so on site rather than sell you lamps that will disappoint. The usual answer is placing lamps where sun reaches for part of the day and aiming their light into the shade. A fully overshadowed courtyard is honestly a poor solar site.
The stone lamps can, they simply sit in the planting. Posts should be fixed to their footing so a knock or a gust does not topple them onto your paving.
