Exterior Wall Lights for Entrances and Perimeter Walls

Three brothers turning Mediterranean landscapes into living art, including the walls, gateposts and boundaries that people actually see first.

Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.

The walls are there. The light is not.

Most Cypriot villas are defined by their walls. A rendered boundary along the road, a stone gatepost at the entrance, a low retaining wall holding back a terrace. In daylight they give the plot its shape. After sunset they vanish completely, and so does the entrance. Guests overshoot the gate, delivery drivers reverse into the planting, and the family car sweeps a headlight beam across a wall that should have been quietly lit all evening.

The usual reaction is to buy a few wall fittings from a shop shelf and screw them up wherever there happens to be a cable. That is where the second problem starts. Fittings chosen without a plan throw glare straight into the eyes rather than washing the surface, so the wall looks patchy and the neighbours get the spill. Cheap housings do not last long in Cyprus either, because salt air, summer heat and winter rain find every weak seal and every unprotected screw.

And then there is the wiring. Running mains cable to a perimeter wall usually means trenching through established planting, cutting a channel across a driveway, or accepting a surface conduit that looks exactly like what it is. On a finished garden that is a genuinely unattractive prospect, which is why so many entrance walls in Paphos, Limassol and Protaras stay dark for years after the rest of the garden is complete.

Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Why Not Just Order a Box

What separates these from supermarket solar stakes

A store sells the light and disappears

We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.

Numbers instead of adjectives

Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.

Honest about the battery

Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.

The Lamps We Quote Here

For most walls and entrances we work with solar fittings, because they can be positioned where the light is actually needed rather than where a cable happens to run. These are the units we specify most often for wall washing, gatepost marking and boundary runs. We select per plot after seeing how the sun falls on it, and every order is issued with an invoice.

Good To Know

Asked before ordering

We do not publish figures, because no two walls are the same. Length of boundary, wall material, how many entrance points you have and how much sun the positions receive all change the specification. We quote in writing after a free first consultation on site, so the number you receive relates to your own property rather than an average.

Not for the solar fittings we normally specify for boundaries and gateposts, as they are self contained and need no mains connection or trenching. If your project also includes mains powered fittings, that part of the work is carried out by a qualified electrician in line with Cypriot regulations.

Cyprus gives good light levels year round, but December and January are shorter and cloudier than August, so output through the night is naturally lower in winter. We allow for that when we choose panel size and placement rather than assuming a summer best case, and we tell you honestly which positions are too shaded to work well.

For a typical villa entrance and a run of boundary wall it is usually a short job, often completed within a day once the fittings are on site. Larger perimeters, resort properties and schemes combined with planting or hard landscaping typically take longer. We confirm a realistic window with your quotation.

Yes. We are based in Paphos and work across southern Cyprus, from Polis and Peyia through Limassol to Larnaca, Protaras and Ayia Napa. Travel and access are taken into account when we prepare your quotation.
