Outdoor Lighting in Cyprus

Outdoor Wall Lights for Villa Façades, Courtyards and Boundary Walls

Soft light washing down a limestone wall, a courtyard you can actually use after dinner, and a boundary that stays readable at night. We plan wall lighting for villas, resorts and private residences across southern Cyprus, using solar fittings chosen for heat, dust and salt air.

Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.

The walls disappear the moment the sun goes down

A Cyprus villa is mostly wall. Rendered façades, dry stone retaining walls, a courtyard enclosed on three sides, a long boundary that runs to the gate. In daylight those surfaces carry the whole character of the property. After sunset they turn into flat black, and the garden shrinks back to whatever the interior lights happen to spill outside.

Most owners try to solve it with whatever is on the shelf at the nearest DIY shop. A pair of battery fittings screwed either side of the front door, a few stick on units along the courtyard. By the second summer the plastic has gone chalky in the UV, the fixings near the coast have started to weep rust, and half of them stop holding a charge through the evening. Nobody replaces them properly, so the wall goes dark again.

There is also the question of where light should go at all. Uplight the wrong wall and you glare straight into the neighbours or into your own bedroom window. Space the fittings badly and a boundary wall reads as a row of bright dots rather than a continuous edge. Getting cabling to a rubble wall or an old courtyard usually means chasing channels through render or lifting paving, which is exactly the work people bought a finished villa to avoid.

Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Why Not Just Order a Box

What separates these from supermarket solar stakes

A store sells the light and disappears

We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.

Numbers instead of adjectives

Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.

Honest about the battery

Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.

The Lamps We Quote Here

These are the solar fittings we most often specify around walls and enclosed courtyards in Cyprus. Which combination suits your property depends on wall height, surface texture and how much sun the area actually collects, so we confirm the layout on site before anything is ordered.

Good To Know

Asked before ordering

Not for the solar fittings we install. There is no mains cabling to run, no trenching across the courtyard and no chasing through render, so the work stays within our own team. If your project also includes wired circuits, we will tell you clearly which parts need a licensed electrician and coordinate that separately.

The fitting has to sit where you want the light, but the panel does not always have to sit with it. On shaded façades and enclosed courtyards we look for a nearby surface, wall top or open corner that collects good sun through the day. Where no sensible position exists, we say so at the survey rather than install something that will underperform.

We specify sealed fittings rated for outdoor use and choose materials with coastal exposure in mind, which matters a great deal in Coral Bay, Latchi, Protaras and along the Limassol seafront. Wall fittings still benefit from an occasional wipe of the panel, and we explain that simple routine when we hand the installation over.

Every property is different, so we do not publish figures. Wall height, run length, surface type, the number of fittings and access all change the picture. We start with a free first consultation on site, then Pambos prepares a written quotation for your specific garden, and an invoice is issued with every order.

A single courtyard or entrance façade is typically a short visit. A full boundary wall with a driveway approach usually runs longer and is normally scheduled alongside any other garden works. We give you a realistic timeframe with the quotation rather than a fixed date before we have seen the site.
