What solar garden lights cost in Cyprus

Price is the first question and deserves a first-sentence answer, not a brochure. Here is the range, and what moves a lamp up it.

Installed grade solar garden lights in our range run from 79 euros for a path post to around 850 at the top, where the street and park lamps on poles live, with live prices on every product page. Supermarket stakes cost five to thirty euros and are a different product in everything but name. The fairer comparison is a wired scheme, where the trench and the electrician often cost more than the lamps themselves.

What moves a lamp up the range

Panel area, battery size, light output and body material, in that order. A 460 lumen aluminium path post needs less of all four than a 3000 lumen street head on a four metre pole, and the price follows the physics rather than the marketing.

Made to order in three to four weeks, the lamps arrive as finished units. There is no hidden second invoice for cabling, because there is no cabling.

The comparison that actually matters

Against a wired scheme the sticker prices mislead in both directions. A wired fitting can cost less than our posts, but it arrives needing a trench through finished ground, armoured cable, an electrician and the making good, and that work often exceeds the cost of the fittings. A solar scheme's price is the price you see, plus a morning of setting footings.

Then the running costs diverge for good: the wired garden joins the electricity bill at 25 to 32 cents a unit, the solar one never does.

The honest limits

Prices move as the range and the euro do, which is why the product pages carry the live numbers and this page deliberately does not promise them. And a lamp is not the whole cost of a scheme: if you want us to plan and install, that work is quoted openly on top, and we tell you the count of heads before you spend anything.

The two ends of the range, for calibration: the 460 lumen garden post and the 3000 lumen street lamp. Garden Post 460 lm · Solar Street Lamp 3000 lm

The next questions

Because the arithmetic fails even before the aesthetics do. Three rounds of throwaway sets cost real money, deliver a fraction of the light, and put you back on a ladder every season. One properly sized lamp with a replaceable battery outlasts the exercise and looks like it belongs in the garden.

No, and we would rather price it honestly than hide it. The shop price is the lamp, delivered. Planning and installation are quoted separately and openly, and for most gardens the install is a single morning of footings and spikes.

The shop shows the price you actually pay, with tax handled at checkout where it belongs. What you will not find anywhere is a surprise line for trenching, because the product does not need one.
