Terrace and poolside lighting across Cyprus

Outdoor Lighting With Integrated Power Sockets for Terraces and Poolsides

You want light where you dine and swim, plus a place to plug in the music, the pump or the outdoor kitchen. We plan both properly, so the lighting scheme and the power points belong to the same design rather than fighting each other.

Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.

One fitting is being asked to do two very different jobs

Most searches for an outdoor light with an outlet start with the same evening: the terrace is dark, the only socket is indoors, and an extension lead runs out through a door that will not close properly. Near a pool that arrangement stops being merely untidy. Water, salt air and trailing cable do not belong in the same place, and a villa that looked finished on handover suddenly feels improvised after sunset.

The second problem is that light and power have different requirements. A socket needs a mains supply, correct weatherproofing and work carried out by someone qualified to do it under the rules that apply in Cyprus. Lighting, by contrast, often does not need trenching at all. Treating both as one purchase usually means chasing cable across a finished terrace, lifting stone that was laid to a pattern, or settling for a fitting that suits neither task well.

Then there is the Cyprus climate itself. Coastal plots deal with salt air, summer heat is relentless, and power cuts happen. Owners who arrive to an empty garden after buying a villa rarely want to make these decisions twice, and architects working on high end projects need the lighting layout and the power positions agreed before the hard landscaping is set.

Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Why Not Just Order a Box

What separates these from supermarket solar stakes

A store sells the light and disappears

We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.

Numbers instead of adjectives

Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.

Honest about the battery

Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.

The Lamps We Quote Here

For the lighting layer we work with solar fittings that need no cabling under your terrace, so lamp positions follow the design rather than the nearest cable route. Where a genuine power point is required, that stays a separate, properly certified electrical item planned alongside these lamps.

Asked before ordering

In practice the two jobs are best separated. A usable socket needs a mains supply with correct weatherproofing, and that work must be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with the regulations that apply in Cyprus. The lighting itself can be solar, with no cable run at all. We plan the lamp positions and the power positions together so the finished terrace reads as one scheme, and the electrical side is handled by the appropriate trade.

No. The solar posts and spotlights we install are self contained, so there is no trenching through a finished terrace or pool surround and no load added to the villa supply. That is the main reason owners choose them for an existing garden. Only the socket side of the project involves mains work.

We specify sealed, outdoor rated housings and choose materials with coastal exposure in mind, since salt air and chlorine splash are part of daily life on a Cyprus plot. Placement matters as much as the fitting: we keep units out of direct splash zones and orientate panels for good daily charging. We will explain openly what each option is designed to withstand in your specific position.

Every garden is calculated individually, because terrace size, pool layout, orientation and the amount of electrical work all differ. We start with a free initial consultation on site, and the quotation follows from that. Pambos handles client contact, planning and quotations, Marios looks after new build landscaping, and Angelos looks after maintenance once the garden is in use.

Yes, and that is the usual case for villas bought with an empty or mature garden. Because the lamps do not require cabling, they can be positioned, tested in the evening and adjusted without disturbing paving or planting. Any mains socket work is best identified early, as it is the element that benefits most from being planned before hard landscaping is laid.
