Solar Lighting · Steps & Levels
Solar lighting for garden steps and level changes
Terraced plots are the Cyprus standard, and every level change is a trip point after dark. Steps need clear, neutral light where feet land.
Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.
The step you know by heart is the one a guest does not
Hillside gardens in Peyia, Tala or Pissouri drop a level every few metres. The owner walks them blind. The guest carrying two glasses does not, and the retaining wall was never built with a conduit in it.
A solar post at each level change puts light exactly where feet land, with nothing chased into the stonework and nothing to retrofit into a finished wall.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.
What separates these from supermarket solar stakes
A store sells the light and disappears
We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.
Numbers instead of adjectives
Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.
Honest about the battery
Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.
On steps we use neutral 4000K light, which renders edges more sharply than warm light. The 600 lumen 4000K post covers a flight, the 280 lumen post marks a single threshold, and the stone lamps tuck into the planting beside the treads.
Asked before ordering
Neutral 4000K light shows edges and contrast more clearly, which is what a step needs. Warm 3000K light flatters seating areas and planting. We mix the two deliberately, light where you look warm, light where you step neutral.
Less than people expect. One 600 lumen post beside a flight is comfortable. The goal is seeing each tread, not floodlighting the slope.
