Positions, sun hours per spot and a fixed count of heads, decided in your garden rather than in a cart. You know what it costs before anything is bought.

The same team that gardens across Cyprus keeps the panels clean and swaps batteries from stock. The lamp has an owner on the island, permanently.
The Arithmetic
What a lit garden costs to run, worked out loud
Cyprus households pay roughly 25 to 32 cents per unit once every levy lands on the bill. We show the working because the wired LED figure deserves honesty too: it is cheap to run, and expensive to arrive.
Old halogen, wired

A dozen 20 watt fittings, six hours a night, is 1.44 units daily. At the household rate of roughly 25 to 32 cents a unit, that is over 150 euros a year, forever.
Modern LED, wired
~35 €/year
The same dozen positions in 4 watt LED cost only around 3 euros a month to run, and we say so plainly. Getting them into a finished garden still means a trench, an electrician and making good.

Each lamp charges itself and burns dusk to dawn with nothing metered, in every season. The honest lifetime cost is a battery swap every few years, stocked and fitted by us.
Since July 2026 the meter is not the only reason. Record demand pushed the island into rotating evening cuts, and households were asked to spare the grid in the early evening, exactly the hours a garden wants light. A solar lit villa takes its whole evening load off the grid, and stays lit through the cut itself.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Before You Order
The honest small print
Yes, zone by zone: entrance, driveway, paths, terrace, pool surround and boundary each take lamps sized for that job, and none of them touches the mains. The house itself stays on its own wiring. We light the garden, and the garden is the part that was dark.
The lamps draw no mains electricity, ever, so the running cost on the bill is zero in every season. The honest lifetime cost sits elsewhere: the battery in each head is a consumable that gets swapped every few years, which we stock and fit. That is the whole small print.
Fewer than most owners expect. A 40 metre drive takes four to five street lamps at one every 8 to 10 metres, a path reads lit with a 460 lumen post at each turn, and a terrace wants two or three warm sources rather than a floodlight. We measure on site and give a fixed count before you order anything.
No, and most owners do not. Because no zone shares a cable with any other, the scheme phases naturally: entrance and driveway first, since that is what greets you at night, then paths and terrace, then the boundary. Each phase works completely on the day it goes in.
