Solar lighting for holiday rentals and second homes
A guest arrives at eleven at night with a suitcase and a phone torch. That is the moment this lighting is for.
Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.
The arrival is the review
Most guests meet the property for the first time in the dark, tired, from an airport, looking for a key box and a front door. A path they cannot see is the first impression, and steps they cannot see are the risk nobody wants to be responsible for. Owners know this and still put it off, because the fix has always meant an electrician, a trench and a house that cannot be let while the work happens.
It also has to survive the other nine months. A second home stands empty most of the year, so lighting that needs a meter reading, a standing charge or somebody to switch it on is lighting that quietly stops being used.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.
What separates these from supermarket solar stakes
A store sells the light and disappears
We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.
Numbers instead of adjectives
Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.
Honest about the battery
Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.
For a let, the useful lamps are the ones that mark a route without being fussy. The 460 lumen garden post along a path, the 280 lumen post as a quiet marker at a turn, and the stone set where guests should see the ground and not the fitting.
Asked before ordering
Nothing. The lamps light at dusk on their own sensor and go off at dawn. There is no switch to find, no app to install and no instruction in the welcome folder, which is exactly what you want when the guest arrives at midnight.
Nothing on the meter, because there is no meter involved. An empty house is also the ideal case for motion mode, where the lamps sit low until something moves, so the battery reserve stretches a long way through a quiet winter.
That is most of this work. We install, and after that the lamps ride along with the garden maintenance visits, so panels are rinsed and housings checked without you arranging anything from another country.
The posts are set on proper footings rather than pushed into soil, which is the difference between a lamp that survives a season of guests and one that leans by August. For the busiest routes we would rather use fewer, better fixed lamps than more flimsy ones.

Tell us about the garden, or send a few photos. We suggest positions and a lamp count, you get a clear picture of what it would take, and you decide in your own time.
