Pissouri plots take real wind in the winter storm months, and their views make restraint the correct design answer, a garden lit like a showroom would compete with a backdrop it cannot beat.
Solar suits both constraints. Lamps bolt to proper footings and carry no cable to strain, and because each light is independent, a design of few, deliberate sources costs exactly what it should instead of carrying a whole circuit's overhead.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Good To Know
Asked before ordering
The posts mount to concrete footings and the housings are sealed metal, wind load is part of what we install for. After the November to February storms we check aim and fixings, and that has so far been the whole story.
The opposite. The lights run themselves at dusk whether the house is open or shuttered, cost nothing while you are away, and the garden reads as lived in, which on a quiet cliff top street is worth something in itself.
