Seasonal Pathway Lighting for Garden Walkways
From festive candy cane stakes to permanent solar posts that mark every path edge, every night of the year, across southern Cyprus.
Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.
The festive lights come down, and the path goes dark again
Most people meet pathway lighting through a seasonal set. A box of candy cane stakes goes in along the walkway in December, guests love it, and the garden finally feels finished after dark. Then January arrives, the stakes come up, and the path reverts to a dark strip of gravel that nobody can read with a glass in one hand.
The seasonal sets rarely survive a second year in Cyprus either. Thin plastic spikes go brittle after a summer of direct sun, printed stripes chalk and fade, the small panels cannot keep up once dust settles on them, and coastal air finds every bare contact. What was charming in its first season looks tired in its second and ends up in a bin bag.
Underneath that is the real issue: the walkway was never lit properly in the first place. There is no rhythm to the spacing, no thought about where the steps and the level changes fall, no plan for the long stretch between the gate and the front door. Seasonal stakes were filling a gap that a permanent scheme should have covered, and a festive theme on top of a good scheme is a pleasure rather than a patch.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.
What separates these from supermarket solar stakes
A store sells the light and disappears
We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.
Numbers instead of adjectives
Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.
Honest about the battery
Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.
For a walkway that needs to read every night, we work with solar posts and spotlights sized to the path rather than to a season. Lower output marks edges and borders, taller posts carry a longer run, and festive details can then be added over the top without carrying the whole job.

Yes. Many clients keep a festive set for the season and simply place it along a walkway that is already lit. The permanent posts give you the shape of the path, and the seasonal pieces become decoration rather than your only light source. That also means the decorative set spends most of the year in storage instead of weathering outside.
Three things work against them: strong UV that makes thin plastics brittle and bleaches colour, dust on small solar panels that cuts charging, and salt air near the coast that attacks unsealed contacts. Fixtures intended for a few weeks of use are not built for a full Cyprus year outdoors.
We walk the path with you first, at dusk if possible, and mark where the eye actually needs information: the entrance, every change of level, bends, and junctions. Spacing then follows those points rather than a fixed measurement, so the run looks deliberate instead of like a line of markers.
Not for a solar scheme. Each post charges on its own panel, so there are no cables to run under a finished walkway, which matters when the paving or gravel is already laid. We discuss the layout, light colour and output in a free first consultation and put a written quotation together after that.
