Solar lighting for agrotourism houses and village stays

Guests book a village house for what it is. The lighting should add evenings, not conduit.

Planned, installed and maintained by us, across Cyprus, whether you are on the island or not.

Old stone and new cable were never going to be friends

The whole value of an agrotourism house is fabric: stone walls, timber lintels, courtyards that have settled for a century. Running mains lighting through that means chasing cable into exactly the surfaces guests came to photograph, and in listed village cores the works question can be genuinely fraught. So courtyards stay dark, and guests fumble from dinner to their rooms by phone light.

Solar lamps sidestep the entire dilemma. A stone lamp glows between the pots, a freestanding post lights the steps, and not one centimetre of wall is opened. The house keeps its dignity and gains its evenings, which is when a village stay is at its best anyway.

Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Why Not Just Order a Box

What separates these from supermarket solar stakes

A store sells the light and disappears

We install it, and we come back to maintain it. That is not a promise about the product, it is a checkable fact about how we work, and it is the one thing no box shipper can offer.

Numbers instead of adjectives

Not premium quality but IP65, Corten steel, 3000 lumens, made to order in three to four weeks. Numbers can be checked, which is exactly why they can be believed.

Honest about the battery

Batteries age. That is physics, not a defect. Ours are replaceable, spares are kept in stock, and we fit them for you.

The Lamps We Quote Here

For village houses we keep the light warm and the fittings quiet: the stone lamp set disappears into courtyards by day, the corten post rusts to the exact palette of old village metal, and the 460 lumen posts carry outside steps.

Good To Know

Asked before ordering

The opposite is the point. The stone lamps read as part of the courtyard by daylight, and corten steel weathers to the browns of old village ironwork. Nothing glows blue, nothing looks like an airport, and by night the light is warm enough to belong to the architecture.

That is precisely where it shines, because nothing is fixed to or chased into the fabric. A freestanding lamp on its own footing changes the building as much as a flowerpot does. For anything beyond that, your architect's rules stay the boss, and we work within them.

Village winters are the real test and the honest answer is yes with planning: panels placed for the low winter sun, the roughly three nights of reserve for grey runs, and motion mode on the routes that only matter when someone walks them.
