The sun hours, the dust, the way a February grey week actually behaves, we know from working these gardens year round, which is the knowledge a lighting plan actually runs on.
Being based here changes the practical part too. A site visit is a short drive rather than an expedition, and our maintenance rounds already pass most neighbourhoods weekly, so a lamp that wants attention gets it in passing. Distance is the quiet tax on everything in a service trade, and in Paphos we simply do not pay it.
Each lamp carries its own panel and battery. Nothing is trenched, nothing is metered, and the switching happens by itself at dusk.

Usually within days, because we are based in the district and pass most of it on existing rounds. The visit itself is unhurried: positions, sun hours per spot, and a fixed count of heads before you order anything.
They are close to ideal. Old stone courtyards are exactly where nobody wants chased cable or drilled facades, and a stone lamp or a freestanding post lights the space without touching the fabric. The one check that matters is midday sun reaching the panel between tall walls, which we measure rather than guess.
Yes, the whole district. Coral Bay, Peyia, Tala, Tsada, Chloraka, Kissonerga and the Polis side are all regular ground for our teams, and several of them have their own pages here because their conditions genuinely differ from the town's.
